Music is a highly-valued part of the life of WEPC. We have two identical worship services starting at 8:30 &11:00 a.m. These services include an eclectic blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. During the services (which last 70 minutes or less) you will be led in worship by excellently prepared musicians to focus on the morning’s theme—sometimes with a praise band, and sometimes with choir and orchestra.
We welcome all musicians to be involved in these music ministries. We even offer an opportunity for the kids to be involved. These include:
Praise band – This group leads weekly worship and practices Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Orchestra – This group of musicians from junior high through adult lead worship once a month and also practice from 5:30-6:30 on Wednesdays.
Choir – The adult choir is open to any singers from high school to adult. The choir leads worship weekly during the school year and practices on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Kids’ Choir – For kids in grades K-6 who like to sing with a group, this choir meets weekly from September through March on Wednesday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. They perform in an annual musical and lead worship about twice per year.
Piano/Organ/Keyboard – Keyboard players provide music for prelude, offering, and communion. Collaboration with other instrumentalists is also encouraged for these special music opportunities.
