Meet the Staff

Aaron Klein

Senior Pastor

As our senior pastor, Aaron equips and collaborates with an amazing church staff, oversees together with our ruling elders to discern the Lord’s direction for our church, and brings us weekly instruction from God’s Word. Aaron graduated from Trinity Christian College and earned his MDiv at Western Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Nicole, are the proud parents of one daughter and three sons. Aaron arrived at WEPC in August 2020, and is grateful to serve alongside a congregation that is passionate about loving Jesus, loving one another, and loving our community.

In his spare time, you might find him imagining he can fly as he dabbles in RC aviation, fishing, or running. If the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach, just about any Chicago style pizza (deep dish or thin crust) or good Mexican food will do.

Blake Cox

Minister of Discipleship & Outreach

As the Minister of Discipleship and Outreach, Blake is passionate about reaching the lost and creating intentional avenues for people to deepen their relationship with Jesus. Born and raised in California, Blake graduated from William Jessup University in 2019. In November 2024, he, his beautiful wife Shantel, and their adorable daughter relocated to Warsaw. Currently pursuing his MDiv at Grace Theological Seminary, Blake and his family find joy in outdoor activities, exploring new places, and being part of the WEPC family. They are grateful to be alongside a church dedicated to Jesus, compassionate towards the unchurched, and exemplary in their love for one another.

In his leisure time, Blake enjoys visiting the local gym, catching movies, engaging in board games and video games, snowboarding, and hiking. If he had to choose a food to savor for the rest of his life, it would undoubtedly be sushi! His ultimate delight lies in indulging in a perfectly brewed pour-over coffee on a chilly day or a refreshing baby iced americano on a scorching hot day!

Kennedy Goeglein

Worship Director

As Worship Director, Kennedy is responsible for overseeing the areas of music and tech that go into creating an environment to cultivate worship on Sundays. She graduated from Grace College and Theological Seminary in 2022 with a degree in Educational Ministries with a minor in Worship Arts, and in 2023 with a Master of Divinity in Exegetical Studies. She and her husband, Jack, have been married since January 2024, and are so grateful to be calling Warsaw home.

In her spare time, you can find Kennedy thrifting, crafting, watching TV, going outside, or talking about how much she loves her cat, Piglet. She loves Winona Lake and the trails, and she enjoys going on walks with a good audiobook or podcast.

Jordan Fredericks

Director Of Fine Arts

As the Director of Fine Arts, Jordan provides leadership to the fine arts ministries, encourages congregational participation and community involvement in the fine and performing arts, and works to weave the fine and performing arts into the life of the church. Born and raised as a local of Warsaw, Jordan graduated from Cedarville University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Music in Composition and minors in Theatre Arts, Biblical Studies, and Music Technology. He later received his Master of Music in Composition from Ball State University in 2024. Throughout his education and career, he has thoroughly enjoyed studying and participating in the arts, including theatre, music, drawing, and writing. He is passionate and enthusiastic about getting people involved in and appreciating the arts as much as he has, and he's excited to use the gifts and interests God has cultivated in him within the church body and for the glory of God.

When he's not working or doing music and art, Jordan enjoys the nerdy life of playing all kinds of board and card games, video games, TTRPGs, and watching movies and shows (often cartoons he really likes the animation in). Other than that, he enjoys his two cats (Isla and Miel), hanging out with friends, traveling, the outdoors, good conversation, and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Melinda Miller

Office Manager

As Office Manager, Melinda serves behind the scenes by helping coordinate operations & communications across all ministries at WEPC. She brings many years of experience in customer service and leadership roles and genuinely enjoys building relationships & supporting others wherever she can. Born & raised in Kosciusko County, Melinda is happy to have found a church family at WEPC.

When she’s not at work, you’ll probably find her outside playing disc golf with her husband (and usually their dog, Maple, tagging along). At home, she loves tinkering in the yard, keeping up with her native flower beds, & finds entertainment in watching her chickens. She also spends a lot of time with her parents & siblings—all of whom live less than five minutes away.

Maegan Fruth

Communications Director

As Communications Director, Maegan is responsible for assisting visitors and overseeing the multiple avenues of communication here at WEPC. Maegan graduated from Grace College with a B.A. in communications and a minor in journalism. She joined the WEPC staff in January 2019 and has loved working where she can grow professionally and spiritually, using communication and creativity to spread The Gospel and bring joy to others.

Maegan married her husband David this past June, and has a long list of things she enjoys, including music, painting, shopping, and reading. Her favorite, favorite things to do, though, are watching movies & shows, playing video games, and having adventures with David.

Heather Faust

Children's Ministry Director

As our Kids Ministry Director, Heather leads talented volunteers, teaches kids, plans events, and supports parents as they disciple their kids. She graduated from Grace College in December 2010 with a Counseling major and a Youth Ministry minor. Heather has been involved in kids ministry volunteering and leadership for the past 17 years and sees working with kids as more of a joyful hobby than a job. She also loves connecting with families in her home and helping the church feel like a safe place for anyone new to our church family or to faith in general.

Heather and her hubby, Brian, have been married for 12 years and have three crazy, wonderful girls. She enjoys nature foraging, board games, ethnic food, and deep conversation.

Angela Ayers

Presby Preschool director

As Presby Preschool director, Angela oversees the preschool and guides staff in following the mission and vision to facilitate the growth and development of children in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment. She joyfully welcomes families to discover our school's play-based curriculum, which allows children ages 3-5 to explore, be curious, and choose the activity that suits their personal learning style. Angela comes from a background in public school administration, so she is familiar with kindergarten standards and how to best set students up for success as they begin their K-12 experience.

Angela enjoys relaxing at home with her husband and two dogs in her spare time and enjoys every moment she can with her adult children. She is a lover of learning and information and hopes to perfect her skills in cornhole and pickleball.

Abi Stevens

Nursery Coordinator

As Nursery Coordinator, Abi oversees all nursery responsibilities, communicates regularly to her team of volunteers, ensures that the nursery is welcoming for visitors and Church members, and shows Christ’s love to the children of WEPC. Abi attends Grace College and will graduate in 2025 with a B.S. in digital marketing with a minor in behavioral science. She joined the WEPC staff in October 2021 and has enjoyed caring for the little ones and serving alongside gifted individuals, all to bring glory to God and joy to others.

In her spare time, you can find Abi walking the Winona trails, listening (and dancing) to lots of music, painting, and watercoloring, baking yummy chocolate chip cookies, and volunteering for local organizations.

Steven Popenfoose

Treasurer

As Treasurer, Steve manages all of the accounting and finances for the church. He is a graduate of Grace College, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He spent the past 30 years of his career in nonprofit leadership and accounting roles. Steve and wife, Paula, have two adult children and six grandkids.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar, reading, cycling and watching his athletic grandkids participate in sports. Steve retired from his full-time career in 2020 and has been a member of the WEPC staff since August 2025. He really enjoys working with the great staff that we have at Presby.

Ty Propp

Facilities Manager

Ty has taken on the task of handling issues in a building over a century old, which gives new meaning to the old adage, "They do not build things like they used to" (and they stopped making parts for them, as well). There is rich history to be found in every nook and cranny here. His goal is to support the already strong use of the building to advance God's kingdom by the talented and gifted staff he is privileged to work with, along with the depth of lay leadership, eager to impact this community for Christ.

Ty was born and raised in Northern California. He attended Christian Heritage College in San Diego, when it was still a sleepy little harbor town. There he met Donna, the complimentary part of who he is. After graduation and a wedding in 1982, the Propps moved to another sleepy town in Indiana to attend Grace Seminary.

Ty doesn't do “leisure” well. If he's not working on a project, he finds building relationships to be a very close second. He is also quite fond of engaging in any kind of sport, from pickleball to indoor soccer to running.

The Propps have three adult children. Ty lives up to the California perception of people who eat weird things, and most of the time he enjoys them.
